We’ve added a new section here at the library for Adult Graphic Novels. For years, there has been a GN designation for Juvenile and Young Adult graphic novels, but the adult graphic novels were just interfiled with the fiction by the author’s name, either general fiction, fantasy, or science fiction. Well, now they have their own space at the beginning of the Fantasy and Science Fiction shelves, and they will have call numbers that begin ADULT GN followed by the title of the book or series. (When you come in the library, walk past the CDs like you’re heading for the elevator, but keep going and you’ll find the Adult Graphic Novels!) The collection is small now, but we’re hoping to grow it for all of our adult patrons who love The Walking Dead, Preacher, and the rest of the great graphic novels being published today.
