Join us at the North Canton Civic Center Tuesdays and Thursdays for this collaboration between the North Canton Public Library and the City of North Canton that provides free programming targeted to our city’s older adults each week.

All are welcome. No registration necessary. Programs and supplies are offered at no cost to attendees.

From Wright Patterson Airforce Base in Ohio to Area 51 in Nevada, there are secrets, sightings and speculation.

A sourdough starter is a living culture of wild yeast and lactic acid bacteria that is used to make bread rise. We will be learning about sourdough starter, recipes and how to create our own. Samples will be available for tasting.

Mushrooms are fungi, which play an important role in many of the foods we eat, the beverages we drink, and the drugs used to treat many illnesses and injuries. In this program, illustrated with dozens of color photos, photographer Ian Adams introduces us to the fascinating world of Ohio’s 2000 different kinds of wild mushrooms.
