While we can’t schedule your pass pickup in advance, we can work with you to let you know what passes we have available on hand right now. Please stop by the adult and teen services desk to inquire about passes.

*Family pass = family of four.  Akron Zoo pass is 2 adults and 4 children. The McKinley Museum is 2 adults in the same household and 2 children.

Who can check out passes?
Any adult with a North Canton Public Library card in good standing.

What are the limitations?
Patrons may borrow a maximum of one pass at any given time. You may only borrow a specific pass once every six months.

Can I use my pass for special events?
No. Sorry, but the Community Exploration Program passes from the Library are not valid during special events.

How do I reserve a pass?
UPDATE JANUARY 1, 2025: Passes cannot currently be reserved.
Select the days that you would like to reserve the pass. You may keep a pass for one week. You can reserve up to 30 days in advance.

How do I pick up and return a reserved pass?
The Akron Zoo, McKinley Museum, Akron Art Museum, and Akron Children’s Museum passes must be picked up at and returned to the Library’s Reference Desk (near the public computers and magazine area). DO NOT place passes in the book-drop. You must return the pass by the last day of the reservation period before the Library closes. You may return the pass early in your reservation period.

Please note: the Pro Football Hall of Fame passes will operate differently than the other passes. Upon reserving a pass, you will receive a digital pass through your email or that you can print. You will not need to bring the Hall of Fame pass back to the Library.

What if I need to cancel?
You may call the Library at 330.499.4712 x311.
Because these passes are a newer service, we ask that you limit cancellations.

What are the fines?
Late fees will be incurred for theAkron Zoo, McKinley Museum, Akron Art Museum, and Akron Children’s Museum passes only. Late fees are $1 per day. Lost or damaged passes will be charged the full price of a pass.
