Re-Opening, Library to Go, and An Epic Summer

The main floor of the North Canton Public Library building is open limited hours with COVID-19 safety measures in place. In compliance with Governor DeWine’s statewide mandate, face masks (covering mouth and nose) are required to enter the Library as of Thursday, July 23 at 6 p.m.

While maintaining social distance, Library customers will be able to browse the shelves, use the self-checkout stations, make appointments for public computers, ask quick account questions, and use printers, copiers, scanners and the fax machine. Library hours will be Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with 10 to 11 a.m. each day reserved for vulnerable populations.

At this time, the library is unable to provide access to the second floor, lower level, and the Little Art Gallery. The Children’s Department remains closed for browsing, but a selection of materials has been relocated to the main floor. The full children’s collection will continue to be available using Library to Go and through the traditional hold system. Children under the age of 12 will not be permitted in the Library during this phase of re-opening, and meeting rooms will remain closed.
