I have worked at the North Canton Public Library for almost 15 years and became the Children’s Department Head in 2011. I am lucky to have such a great job! North Canton is such a great, supportive community. I work with an incredible staff in the children’s department.
My job is really cool!
I get to buy new books, movies, video games, music, and puppets for kids to enjoy! I plan parties and crafts and book clubs.
One of my favorite parts of my job is visiting the North Canton City Schools and St. Paul’s to share stories with the first and second graders. I am usually drawn to fun, humorous stories with large, vibrant pictures. There are so many great read-aloud books but I want to share a few of my favorites that I have taken in to classes this school year.
