Babywearing educators from Babywearing International of Akron Youngstown invite you to join us to learn about different types of baby and big kid carriers, babywearing safety, tips and tricks, and to participate in hands on demonstrations. An assortment of baby carriers will be available for demonstration purposes, and you are welcome to bring a carrier of your own. BWIAkY holds monthly, free, educational meetings in Canton, Akron, Ravenna, and Youngstown. All caregivers are welcome to attend our session and our meetings. Babywearing International is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting babywearing as a universally accepted practice, with benefits for both child and caregiver. We provide education and support to parents, caregivers, and educators through our outreach activities. BWIAkY also has an active online community where babywearers can seek advice and support.
