Can you believe it’s already February? I sure can’t! 2015 is off to an awesome start here at NCPL. In January, we hosted a Continuing Education Fair that celebrated lifelong learning, within the library and out in the community as well. Canton Hacker and Maker Place was here to teach us about 3D printing, Elec Simon offered a mini drum lesson, Pam Neff taught us about recycled book art and so much more! Of course, the library showcased our Continuing Education courses being offered through Gale Courses and Universal Class. Did you know that you can take classes on everything from Microsoft Office to learning to play the guitar right from the comfort of your own home? For free? All you need is your library card. Aside from that, we have a ton of awesome adult programs planned for February. Hometown Chocolates is offering a program on the health benefits of chocolate, retired executive director of the Canton Museum of Art, Al Albacete, will be hosting an Exploring the Arts series, and  NCPL celebrity, Ken Palosi, will be here to teach us how to twist balloons into a variety of awesome shapes and animals. Of course, we’ll also have our monthly book club meet-ups and crafter’s corner class. So what are you waiting for? Come visit us here at NCPL and beat the winter blahs!
