79th ANNUAL MAY SHOW
Our 79th Annual May Show will receive digital submissions only. Entries will be accepted February 1 through April 11, 2022. Paper entry forms are available in the gallery or may be printed.
Entry form and entry fee should be made out to FLAG (Friends of the Little Art Gallery) and mailed or delivered to the gallery. Digital images may be emailed or delivered via digital storage device to the gallery. Email: email@example.com.

The call for entries is open to any artist 16 years of age or older living or working in Stark County. Each artist may submit up to two pieces of artwork. All works submitted must be original, recent (within the past three years) and not previously exhibited in a Little Art Gallery show. All media will be accepted.
Photographs of Artwork: For the jurying process, artwork must be represented by digital photography in jpeg format. No more than four photographs of each artwork will be allowed. All components of the artwork must be visible in original submission. No components that were not part of the work upon submission may be added to accepted artwork. Do not superimpose any information (including artist’s name) on the photographs. Label digital files with artist’s first and last name followed by the artwork title, corresponding exactly with the name and title on the entry form (example: Pablo Picasso-The Old Guitarist).

Work must be completely ready to hang or display. Frames must be sturdy and in good condition. For safety reasons, all hanging work must have D-rings secured to the back with wire attached. Eyehooks and saw tooth hangers will not be accepted. Artwork must be properly labeled with completed identification cards attached to the back. Three-dimensional works may have the identification card securely tied to them. The gallery reserves the right to disqualify any work that does not meet these requirements.
Artists will receive an email notification about accepted works only on April 14, 2022.
Artists without access to email will receive phone notification by 4 p.m. on April 14, 2022.
A non-refundable fee of $15 per piece of artwork must accompany entries. Works may be for sale.
Two independent jurors will select the works to be exhibited in the 79th Annual May Show. All decisions of the jurors are final. Juror biographies will be printed in the exhibit catalogue.

Artists are responsible for delivery of accepted work. An artist representative may deliver work if the artist is unavailable. Late work will be disqualified from the exhibit and will be excluded regardless of circumstances. Packing materials must be clearly marked with the artist’s name if they are to be returned following the exhibition. Please use the Library’s main entrance and proceed to gallery office inside the gallery. The gallery will receive art April 18 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and April 19 between 5 and 7 p.m..
Work must be picked up following the exhibit. An artist representative may pick-up work if the artist is unavailable. Please use the Library main entrance and proceed to gallery office inside the gallery. The gallery will be open for pick-up June 6 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and June 7 between 5 and 7 p.m.
