The Holiday Pop Up Market is a new addition in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the North Canton Community Sing and Tree Lighting event (now named Winterfest).

Winterfest Holiday Pop Up Market vendors may include artists, makers, direct sales, jewelry, apparel, boutique items, vintage collections, and prepackaged food items.

Space is limited and preference will be given to vendors with unique items that would make great holiday gifts. The goal of the Pop Up Market is to provide “shop local” options for North Canton Winterfest attendees. Applying does not guarantee placement in our market.

ABOUT THE MARKET:
This market will take place during this year’s annual tree lighting event (now named Winterfest). Vendors will set up on the North Canton City Hall portico, and will not need tents. Up to two tables will be provided per vendor. There is no cost to participate. The North Canton Public Library is organizing the market as part of the North Canton Winterfest.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION:
Deadline is Monday, October 28. Vendors for this curated market will be selected based on uniqueness and gift-ability of items to be sold. Again, the goal is to create a “shop local” experience. Submission of application does not guarantee a space. You will be notified by email of the committee’s acceptance/rejection of your application.

VENDOR/EXHIBITOR HOURS:
Saturday, December 7 from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
Exhibitor spaces must be attended during these hours.

WEATHER:
This is an outdoor market that will be held regardless of weather.

BOOTH INFORMATION:
All booths will be located on the North Canton City Hall portico, which is covered. Tents/canopies are not permitted. One table and two chairs will be provided for each vendor. Vendors may bring one additional table.

Canopies or E-Z Up tents of any kind are prohibited.

Booths will be a minimum of 8’x8’. You may not sublet any part of your space. The portico will be lighted and heaters will be in place. Electricity is available, but must be requested in advance.

PRODUCTS/SERVICES:
Please submit full descriptions and photos of products to be sold.

SET-UP:
Set-up will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 7. You will be notified of your space assignment and set-up details by email one week prior to the event. Volunteers will be available if you need assistance locating your space. All vehicles must be out of the festival area and moved to parking spaces before 4 p.m. (if you need additional set up time, we may be able to make arrangements to accommodate that)

PARKING:
Since exhibitors are the first to arrive and the last to leave the event, parking should not be a problem. There will be on-street parking and parking lots available.

FESTIVAL STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS:
Event volunteers and committee members will be available to offer assistance. Please do not hesitate to ask any of these volunteers and staff for help.

FEES:
There are no vendor fees for this first time event.
