Whether you love to celebrate love, want to pretend like Valentine’s Day doesn’t exist this year, or simply want to Share the Love, we’ve got you covered with our book displays and food drive this month.

SHARE THE LOVE FOOD DRIVE

All month long, we will be collecting non-perishable food donations for the Stark County Hunger Task Force though our Share the Love Food Drive. The Task Force is an emergency line of support for those in need of food assistance. Their pantry network, made up of more than 30 local pantries, serves free emergency groceries to 29,000+ Stark County residents each month.

BLIND DATE WITH A BOOK

Our patron services manager has paired mystery date books with music CDs so you can snuggle up with a book, put on mood music, and enjoy a Blind Date with a Book. Check out a book, let us know what you thought about it and you’ll be entered to win a prize.

ANTI-VALENTINE’S DAY

One of our creative and not-so-excited-about-Valentine’s-Day staff members has created a display for all of you who would like to pretend Valentine’s Day isn’t happening this year.

Regardless of how you feel about love these days, we hope you’ll come on in, bring a can of food, and check out a book from whichever display appeals to you.
