In the second round of Library Madness, I heard a lot of people say this was starting to get hard. Well, if they thought Round 2 was hard, welcome to the Sweet 16. The top two vote getters in the second round were The Great Gatsby and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and while you might think they are on a sure collision course to meet up to decide which will make it to the Finals, keep in mind that Gatsby now has to face Pride and Prejudice and Harry Potter needs to deal with The Giving Tree. The Round 3 Nonfiction matchup I’m particularly interested in seeing is the hilarious A Walk in the Woods facing Elie Wiesel’s Holocaust memoir Night, both exceptional books. And in Fiction, I will admit I was shocked at how handily Slaughterhouse-Five dispatched Outlander. Can it do the same to The Handmaid’s Tale?

Here’s the complete bracket. Vote in person or on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram by tagging the Library (@NCantonLibrary) and using the hashtag #LibraryMadness. Voting for this round lasts through Friday, March 15.
