Hello, everybody!
Spring is finally here, and we’re ready to do some cleaning. This Thursday, April 9, through Sunday, April 12, we’ll be hosting our Friends of the Library book sale in our lower level program rooms.
The schedule for these days is:
Thursday: 10 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Sunday: 1 – 4:30 p.m
Please note that the ending times for the book sale are 30 minutes before the library closes each day. We do this to ensure the program rooms are clear to be locked up for the evening since the library itself will be running normal hours.
The book sale includes more than just books for all ages! We sell talking books, dvds, cds and more. If you don’t bring a bag with you to transport your bought items, we can provide you with one.
As of now, we are still accepting donations to go towards the sale and our library collection. If you have any items you wish to donate, feel free to bring them over. If you only have a single bag or maybe just one box of items, it is fine to bring it inside to the front desk. If you have more than one or two bags/boxes of items, we prefer you drop them off at the loading dock at the back of our building near the book drop bins. Just give us a call ahead of time so we can have a custodian ready to help unload your vehicle in the back lot and bring the items safely inside away from the outdoor elements. Upon request, we’re happy to provide a tax receipt for donations.
