This Saturday we invite you to our Second Annual LibCon 11-3! If you were one of the lucky folks who came last year, you already have some idea of what’s in store, but if you didn’t attend our first comic convention at the library, then let me tell you what we have in store.

Members of the 501st Legion at last year’s LibCon.

There will be vendors, of course. Folks selling their awesome, geeky goods from comics to sci fi novels, art and games. You can also do your own superhero cookie decorating with Little Chunk of Goodness at any one of four sessions. If you want to know more about how to draw and create graphic novels and comics, we have a chibi art class with Todd Beistel, as well as Eisner nominated graphic novelist, Sean McArdle, speaking. There will also be face painting, board games, and the 501st Legion in their finest Star Wars costumes. Speaking of, we encourage family friendly cosplay and there will be a cosplay parade.
