Hi! Nicole here again! This time to talk about what’s going on in Adult Services during the month of November. Those of you who are “frequent flyers” at the North Canton Public Library probably know about our Explore the World programming. For those of you who aren’t familiar with it, each month from April through December we have programs that follow certain themes. If you attend one of these themed programs and have your NCPL Guidebook with you, then you are eligible for a special incentive graciously supplied by one of our community partners. Our themed program for November is actually for adults and teens. We invite you to visit the library this Saturday, November 15 to play board games and enjoy light refreshments. The program runs from 2-4 p.m. and you can come whenever is convenient. Additionally, we have a stamped holiday card program set to take place next Wednesday, November 19 at 6:30 p.m. Online registration is currently full, but call the Adult/Teen Services desk at 330-499-4712 ext. 311 to be placed on the waiting list. Rumor has it that the instructor might be able to take a couple of extra people. Last, but not least, I’d like to take a moment and congratulate our adult writing contest winners. We received 15 entries overall and with some difficulty narrowed it down to three winners.

1st place: Scott Slesnick
2nd place: Ron Luikart
3rd place: Christine Smith

Thank you to all who participated! Until next time~
