Last year’s #LibraryMadness event was one of 2019’s highlights for me. Much like college basketball’s March Madness, the wonderful patrons of the North Canton Public Library helped pick 64 books to enter a tournament. Every five days, there were new matchups for everyone to vote on, and eventually, we ended up with a winner—the remarkable Elie Wiesel’s Night. It was such an exciting time that we wanted to do it again, but we already picked a favorite book, so we had to do something else.

That something else is movies.

Now until February 23, you can nominate up to 64 of your favorite movies to make it into the #LibraryMadness tournament. On March 1, the movies will be in our bracket and you will get the chance to vote on the first 32 matchups. And then every five days, the winners move on until we finally declare the Best Movie Ever on March 31.

And you are going to want to vote in March, because one lucky participant is going to win an awesome movie-themed gift basket!

For more details on how #LibraryMadness works, read all the details here. You can nominate movies either by tagging us on social media (@NCantonLibrary) or stop in a pick up a nomination sheet!
