COVID has create a different job landscape, and a lot of folks are currently looking for work or thinking about new opportunities. But change can be tough to navigate, especially if you don’t even know where to start. Well, the library wants to help at least with the finding where to start part.
Next week, we will have free Job and Career To Go folders full of information that can get you started. There’s a list of books here at the library to hep you polish up your resume and cover letter, along with websites that will help you build a free resume. We’ve also included information on local organizations who can help with your job search and training, as well as a handout on how to use LinkedIn Learning so you can study new skills. There are also brochures that Goodwill was kind enough to provide us with explaining some of the great services they offer to job seekers.
