It might be because I’m kind of a dork about my computers, but I have to confess that every time I get a new laptop, I can’t wait to personalize it. Now, a lot of it is practical—I want the programs I use all the time to be pinned to the Taskbar or the Start menu, for instance. But I also want a pretty picture for the background and to adjust all the colors and reshape everything.
