Not to bring up those pesky New Year’s resolutions again, but a lot of people use this time of year to set the goal of learning another language. If that’s something you’re interested in, the library has a great database called Transparent Language. With nothing more than a library card and a desire to learn, you can start studying any one of over 100 languages, including English for native speakers of over two dozen other languages. It’s a really cool resource, and you can head straight over to our Database page and get going. Or, if you want a little help learning how to use Transparent Language, I’m going to be teaching a class tomorrow night at 6:00.
