Black Friday
Anyone visiting the library during open hours (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) Friday, Nov. 23, 2018, can have their library fines up to $24.99 eliminated. In addition to the fine forgiveness offer, library patrons will receive free coffee, tea and hot cocoa at the library all day long and prize drawings will be held throughout the day.

Art for Animals
Saturday, December 1 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Library visitors will shop for artwork and crafts made by local artists. Adoptable animals will be on-site looking for homes for the holidays. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Pitties and Kitties rescue.

Christmas Crafts for 3 – 6 year olds
Saturday, December 1 from 10 a.m.-1p.m.
Visit the Children’s Department any time between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to make (and possibly then gift) Christmas crafts! No registration required.

Pictures with Santa
Bring your camera!
Saturday, December 8 from 10-11:30 a.m.
Monday, December 10 from 6-7:30 p.m.
No registration required.

Giving Dates and Details
Holiday Paws Pantry (Nov. 12 – Dec. 17) – accepting pet food and supplies for dogs and cats
Coats for Christmas (Oct. 10 – Dec. 4) – new and gently used coats of all sizes are being collected
Mitten Tree (Nov. 8 – Dec. 7) – decorate a tree with new mittens, gloves, hats, scarves and socks for all ages
Giving Tree (Nov. 8 – Dec. 7) – visit the library to select a tag and purchase a gift for someone in need
Blankets and Towels for Animals (Oct. 16 – Nov. 30) – accepting clean blankets and towels for shelter and rescue animals
