In this post, one of our amazing librarians, Elizabeth, shares tips for using eAudio Books to help you through this time.

Even though I have plenty of physical books to keep me busy, audiobooks are a great way to still “read” anytime. It is so easy to access audiobooks, eBooks, comics, movies, magazines, and TV series for FREE with your library card. Even if you don’t have a library card at the North Canton Public Library you can sign up for a card online and still use all of our digital materials!

So here’s the scoop, Libby is the app through the Ohio Digital Library that I use on my iPhone. It has soooo many audiobooks for free. Sometimes you have to place a hold on an item (just like a normal book). Hoopla is the other app I use on my iPhone for audiobooks. It has movies and TV too! Hoopla is cool because you can check out something right away. However, it has less options than Libby.
