What matters to you? Schools? Transportation? Hospitals?

Data from the U.S. Census Bureau helps inform planning efforts for all these important community resources.

Every 10 years, the U.S. Census Bureau undertakes a mammoth task: counting all the people residing in the United States. This count affects the allocation of funding for our community’s public resources (e.g., roads, hospitals, schools), how plans for the future are made, and our voice in government.

For the first time, in 2020, the U.S. Census Bureau is accepting responses online. The process is quick and secure. You can respond to the census in less time than it takes to finish your morning coffee. You can also respond by mail if you prefer. Learn more about the importance of the 2020 Census and how to participate at 2020census.gov.

We hope you’ll complete your census today, if you haven’t already. It’s really important.

When you’re done, check off that square on our community engagement “bingo” board.
