The votes have been cast, passions have run high, and we finally come to the end of our first #LibraryMadness tournament with the people selecting Night by Elie Wiesel as the favorite book. For those of you who haven’t read it, Night is an extraordinarily powerful book about Wiesel’s family being taken to a concentration camp when he was a teenager. The discussions of evil and personal loss are as moving as they are important, and I personally cannot recommend this book strongly enough.

And as long as we’re on a personal note here, I would like to thank all of the folks who participated and made this such an exciting event. We will definitely be doing more tournaments in the future, and I would love to hear your feedback on how we can make this exciting event even better next time around. For instance, over the month of March, 186 ballots were cast, and I don’t see why we can’t get well over 200 next time!
